13.	What visa do I require to participate in a course given by the Economic Development Institute of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (World Bank) in the U.S.?

	If you have been nominated by a member government of the World Bank to attend a course given at the Economic Development Institute of the Bank, you are eligible for a G-4 visa. When applying for the visa you are required to furnish a letter of acceptance from the Economic Development Institute of the Bank. The request for a visa must be made or supported by the foreign government concerned. Attendees who are not nominated by a member government require B-1 or B-2 visas.

14.	Does my nephew or niece qualify as an immediate family member for G-4 visa?

	No, your nephew or niece may not accompany you on G-4 visa. They must obtain the appropriate visa for the purpose of travel.

15.	Does my child who is at a boarding school qualify as a member of the immediate household for the purpose of G-4 visa?

	Yes, your child qualifies as an immediate relative, even though he or she is actually absent from the household for a large part of the year while attending a boarding school or college.

16.	Does my adopted child qualify as a member of the household for the purpose of G-4 visa?

	Children who are subject to a full and final adoption by the principal G-4 applicant are considered immediate family members.
